About JPCL: Jamshoro Power Company Ltd (PCL), a Government of Pakistan owned corporation, is dedicated to generating electricity efficiently and managing the operation and maintenance of the Power Plant 2s per the best practices in the country. Under its supervision, JPCL has successfully commissioned the 660 MW Coal Fired Power Project.
Position Summary: JPCL is seeking highly qualified, experienced, dynamic, and vibrant candidates for the position of Chief of Engineering. The selected candidate will report directly to the Manager and will work closely for the development of the project and its international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Minimum 20 years of power sector experience at national or international level.
- Experience in setting up power plants in managerial positions is a must.
- Experience of Public Procurement Procedures and Regulations will be preferred.
- Project Plant Management experience out of which 10 years as a manager will ensure working experience in power projects ensuring safety, efficiency, and transparency in reporting to the top management.
- Working knowledge of MS Project, Primavera, and/or other relevant project management tools.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have worked on Project Director roles or coal power projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
- Candidates with qualifications in relevant fields will be preferred.
- Excellent leadership skills, management & team building experience, and excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
Tenure & Remuneration Package:
- The appointment will be on a contract basis initially for a period of 01 year, extendable as per applicable laws and subject to satisfactory performance review.
- The selected candidates will work under the direct supervision of the CEO, CL, and GEO, GHCL.
- An attractive salary package will be offered to the selected candidates considering their qualifications and experience.
- Candidates should not be more than 55 years of age on the closing date of the receipt of CV application.
